A Security Officers basic responsibilities are to be a visible deterrent, be assertive and to observe and report. Our main goal is to ensure a safe environment for customers and employees alike, while protecting your merchandise and property. Security Officers are visible to be an effective deterrent mechanism in preventing crimes at client's locations. Security Officers are customer service minded.

Security Officers patrol the common parking lot area, which includes behind buildings and store frontage sidewalks. During these patrols the Security Officer will watch for persons:

• Breaking into cars
• Snatching purses
• Strong-arm robbery
• Pan handling
• Soliciting
• Garbage dumping
• Shopping cart thieves
• Abandoned cars
• Cars being left on lot by those not shopping at the center
• Vandalism
• Graffiti
• Automobile accidents
• Slip and fall or tripping injuries
• Medical emergencies
• Hazards on property
• Unwanted loiterers
